3.Main types of shock absorbers
(1)Cab shock absorber
Function:
Buffer the vibration between the frame and the cab, reduce the impact of the road surface on the cab, and improve the comfort of the driver and passengers.
Reduce the impact of factors such as the engine, road undulations, potholes, etc. on the cab, so that long-term driving is not easy to fatigue.
Location:
Installed between the cab and the frame, usually used in conjunction with airbag suspension, spring or hydraulic support system.
(2)Axle shock absorber
Function:
Mainly used to suppress the bounce of the axle due to uneven road surface during driving, and improve the stability and handling of the whole vehicle.
Reduce the bump amplitude of the axle, reduce tire bounce, improve tire grip, and reduce tire wear.
Location:
The shock absorber installed between the axle (front axle or rear axle) and the frame, especially the shock absorber on the rear axle, is more important because it bears a larger load.

Function:
